Metropolis and ComicConnect are attending New York Comic Con on October 9-12, 2025, and will be previewing ComicConnect’s Event Auction 64. They will show original art, vintage comics, and other collectibles at booth #3535.
First looks at Event Auction 64’s comics include Marvel Comics #1 4.0, the first appearances of Aquaman and Green Arrow in More Fun Comics #73 8.0, and Golden Age Daredevil makes his second appearance and first cover in Silver Streak Comics #7. They are joined by major keys Batman #1, Amazing Fantasy #15, Showcase #4, Fantastic Four #1, and Amazing Spider-Man #1.
Original art includes Frank Miller’s Daredevil #181 with the death of Elektra and her return from the dead in Daredevil #190. Bob Layton depicts Tony Stark’s downfall in the classic “Demon in a Bottle” story from Iron Man #128. The auction contains Tony Moore Walking Dead #2 art, and pieces by Adam Kubert, Joe Shuster, Geof Isherwood, and others.
ComicConnect will also have a piece of comics history at their booth with the vintage drawing table used by artist Al Plastino. Top talents will be visiting from NYCC’s Artist Alley to sit at the desk while sketching as part of a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Other memorabilia on display includes screen-used film props like Jane Foster’s Mjolnir from Thor: Love and Thunder and Wolverine claws from X2: X-Men United, plus an E-11D Blaster from Star Wars. There’s more weaponry with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Atlantean sword from Conan the Destroyer, along with a set of High Table coins from John Wick: Chapter 3, and Phil Coulson’s badge from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Metropolis Comics will be located at booth 3636, and ComicConnect President Vincent Zurzolo and The Addiction co-creator David Quinn will present the limited edition premiere of The Addiction: The Touch #1 at booth 3537.
