AWA is heading to New York Comic Con on October 9-12, 2025, with retired professional fighter and author Ronda Rousey, and multiple comic creators. The publisher will host signings and exclusive merch at booth #4355, and participate in panels highlighting their new titles.

The “Fight Like a Mother” panel is on Friday, October 10 at 5 PM in North Room 406.3. Rousey will discuss her debut graphic novel, Expecting the Unexpected, and real life experiences that shaped the book.

The “Mapping Myth & Magic with Oz Creators” panel is on Saturday, October 11 at 4:45 PM in Room 1C03. Oz historians, creators, and others will discuss the new graphic novel, Ultimate Oz Universe: The Lost Lands, and how it honors the world created by L. Frank Baum.

Rousey will be signing at the AWA booth on October 9 at 4 PM, October 10 at 1 PM, and October 11 at 12 PM.

Esad Ribić will sign his Emerald City print on October 9 at 2 PM.

The Ultimate Oz creators and historians will sign on October 11 at 2 PM.

Mark Russell will sign on October 9 at 12 PM and October 12 at 12 PM.

Exclusive merch at the AWA booth includes Expecting the Unexpected trade paperback with an exclusive NYCC pin, Ultimate Oz Universe giveaway comic and pins, Ribić’s limited edition Emerald City wraparound print, and a full lineup of AWA trades, one-shots, and collections, including titles by Garth Ennis, Frank Cho, and Russell.
