Baltimore Comic-Con Releases Panel Schedule

Baltimore Comic-Con is returning on October 17-19, 2026, at the Baltimore Convention Center. They will host a huge list of comic creators and comic dealers, plus collectible dealers, media guests, and plenty of panels on all three days of the show.

Friday will include Brian K. Vaughan, Derek Kirk Kim, Jeph Loeb, and Tom King talking about “The Art of Reinvention” in comics and other media, Mark Wheatley and Marc Hempel will celebrate 35 years of Breathtaker, and Mark Waid returns for trivia with “The New History of DC Comics.” New publisher Ignition Press will host a panel, there will be a live episode of the Random Acts of Comics podcast with Todd Dezago and friends, and Chip Kidd and Michael Cho will discuss The Avengers in the Veracity Trap!. There will be spotlight panels on Stan Sakai, Jeff Smith, Chris Claremont, actor Carl Lumbly, and voice actors Vincent Martella and David Errigo Jr. (Phineas and Ferb), and artists can submit portfolios to DC Comics Senior Editor Brittany Holzherr.

On Saturday, School of Visual Arts instructor Jamal Igle will discuss the basics of cartooning in “Hit the Ground Running: Comics 101,” David Petersen and Zoe Thorogood will share what’s at their drawing boards in “Tools of the Trade,” Oni Press and Bad Idea will present their upcoming titles, and aspiring creators can learn how to become pros with the Maryland Institute College of Art. There will be a screening of Shopping for Superman, the documentary about comics retailing, spotlight panels on creators Tom King, Paul Pope, Mike Grell, and James Robinson, and actors Bonnie Wright, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, and Giancarlo Esposito. They will have the Baltimore Comic-Con Yearbook art auction, adult cosplay contest, and portfolio reviews with Ignition Press publisher Filip Sablik.

Sunday panels include “Comics Aloud!” with David Petersen, Mark Buckingham, and others, and “Comics Are for Kids!” with Chris Giarrusso, Franco, Andy Runton, and more. There will be a “How to Make a Comic” panel with Metal Ninja Studios, “From Digital to Print” features Global Comix and Comics Wellspring, and the CGC team will discuss “Comic Book Grading.” There will be spotlights on creators Barbara Friedlander, Alan Davis, Mark Waid, and Phillip Kennedy Johnson, and X-Men voice actors Alyson Court, Cal Dodd, Adrian Hough, and Lenore Zann, and they will have the children’s costume contest.
