The issue opens with a massive mix-up when Dilton’s invention plays one heck of a trick on the South Side Serpents. A Halloween party at Eyegor Estate goes awry when pranks become dangerous and Archie is convinced that Trick and Treat are the culprits. Veronica finds a clever way to make money during Halloween, then the Riverdale teens take their pets trick ‘r treating. A pair of ghost stories close the issue. 

Archie comics can always be counted on for well done holiday reading. Their books capture the spirit of the holidays, the charm of being a teenager during the festivities, and Archie’s signature brand of family-friendly humor. 

This issue has lots of costumes, candy, monsters, and mischief. There’s a party, trick ‘r treating, pranks, and several ghosts. Archie’s magical and spooky season characters make appearances, and steal their story in a haunted house setting. Each tale was entertaining for readers of all ages.
