In 2025, Todd McFarlane Productions is celebrating the 50th issues of King Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, and The Scorched with their 50/50/50 Program crossover event. Next up is Gunslinger Spawn #50, in stores in December 2025.

Gunslinger Spawn #50 will be an extra-length issue featuring part two of the connecting storyline that began in King Spawn #50 and concludes in The Scorched #50. An ancient force has come back and is targeting Spawn in this issue that is written by McFarlane and illustrated by Stephen Segovia and Carlo Barberi.

“Besides Spawn, the Gunslinger Hellspawn has become the next most popular character in the Spawn Universe,” McFarlane said. “And this latest issue builds on our 50/50/50 event as we continue the creative ideas we started in King Spawn #50. This classic ‘Man out of time’ character has given us room to explore both his time here in our modern age as well as showing glimpses of his western past (and the Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger title enhances that portion).”

Gunslinger Spawn #50 features a line of variant covers and incentives similar to King Spawn #50 and the upcoming Scorched #50. McFarlane, Skottie Young, Mark Spears, and Puppeteer Lee provided covers, and Young and Lee will create covers that connect all three issues.

The incentive tier cover H (1:1000) raw pencil virgin variant by McFarlane will come with a hand-drawn Spawn sketch inserted into the book. McFarlane will draw 50 of the sketches, and the rest are by Jonathan Glapion, Brett Booth, Jason Shawn Alexander, Barberi, and Segovia. Each copy of cover H will be signed by McFarlane and includes a CGC certificate that verifies the signature and that the inserted sketch is authentic.

Gunslinger Spawn #50 will go on sale in comic shops on December 31.
