Jeff Jacob Collection Part 3 Auction Now Live at Hake’s
In January 2025, Hake’s Auction started presenting the Jeff Jacob Collection of rare, high grade, high value action figures and toys. Jacob spent over 30 years meticulously cultivating an incredible collection of toys from Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Masters of the Universe, and other popular toy lines. Hake’s has offered many treasures from his collection, and there are still plenty of impressive pieces available. The Jeff Jacob Collection Part 3 Auction featuring 589 lots of material is now open for bids and will close on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

The Palitoy Return of the Jedi General Madine tri-logo 70-back-B AFA 80 is one of the rarest production Star Wars figures and the rarest from the Tri-Logo series. The card features English, Spanish, and French text, but while the other Tri-Log figures were sold throughout Europe, the General Madine Tri-Logo card was only sold in France. It is one of just ten AFA-graded examples, one of two graded AFA 80 with just one higher. This is only the second time that Hake’s has offered it.
The Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader 32-back collector’s case (special offer) AFA 75 comes with Boba Fett, IG-88, and Bossk figures. This is one of two special offer cases, known as the Bounty Hunters version, it can hold 31 figures. Only six examples of this version have been graded by AFA, compared to 22 of the other case. This is only the second time Hake’s has sold a factory sealed example.

The Return of the Jedi Boba Fett Tri-Logo 70-back-B AFA 85 French Meccano figure features English, Spanish, and French text on the card. There are only two examples in this grade and none higher, per the AFA Population Report.
The Star Wars Droid Set three-pack Series 2 AFA 80 contains R5-D4, Death Star Droid, and Power Droid. The card has been partially punched, but the hang tab remains in place.

The Palitoy Return of the Jedi Jawa Tri-Logo 70-back-B AFA 85 is the single highest graded example of the figure that was made in Taiwan and features an etched-corner blister. The Power of the Force Gamorrean Guard 92-back AFA 85 with figure and matching aluminum collectors coin is on an unpunched card.
The top tier Star Wars items are joined by the Transformers Series 1 Soundwave (Decepticon Communicator) AFA 80. The Hasbro figure with rubsign and Buzzsaw (Condor Cassette) features the Registered logo. It is one of the most desirable Series 1 Transformers toys.
