Tripwire Magazine, the British genre publication dedicated to comics, film, music, and other forms of pop culture, is collecting some of their best interviews in a new archive book series. The collection begins by showcasing comic creators in Tripwire From the Archive Volume One: Comics, which is now seeking backers on Kickstarter.

This is the first of three volumes that will reprint classic interviews that appeared in print and online. They are choosing interviews with creators from comics, film, TV, and art that ran over the last 30-plus years. The future editions will be themed around film and TV, and art and illustration.

Tripwire From the Archive Volume One: Comics features interviews with comic creators Alan Moore, Mike Mignola, Joe Kubert, Frank Miller, Walter Simonson, Dave Gibbons, Bill Sienkiewicz, Frank Quitely, Kyle Baker, Harlan Ellison, Will Eisner, Dave McKean, Ian Rankin, Brian Michael Bendis, Pete Milligan, Jeph Loeb, Tim Sale, and others.

The collection is filled with 150 pages of content and will be available in hardcover, softcover, and digital version. Perks in the campaign include limited prints of classic Tripwire covers and postcards.

Pledge levels start with a digital copy for £10 (about $14), the softcover is £15 (about $21), and the hardcover with a dustjacket is £25 (about $34). The limited edition hardcover signed by writer/editor Joel Meadows is £35 (about $48). The retailer discount is £30 (about $41) for three copies of the softcover edition or £45 (about $61) for three copies of the hardcover.

The Tripwire From the Archive Volume One: Comics Kickstarter campaign is seeking to reach $6,730; it ends on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
