Oni Press and William M. Gaines Agent, Inc. are presenting the first look at their latest EC title, Outlaw Showdown #1. The 56-page story set in the Old West kicks off a new series of larger size EC genre specials that will also include crime and punishment tales and stories about surviving in prehistoric times.

Creators contributing to the book include John Arcudi (B.P.R.D.), Sebastián Cabrol (The Seasons Have Teeth), Christopher Cantwell (Out of Alcatraz), David Lapham (Stray Bullets), Tony Moore (The Walking Dead), Dan McDaid (Shazam!), and Ann Nocenti (Daredevil). It also contains a newly remastered story from Harvey Kurtzman and Jack Davis with color restoration by Iñaki Azpiazu.

The first issue comes with covers by Moore, Lee Bermejo (Joker), Ladrönn (Cable), Shawn McManus (Fables), and Rian Hughes (The Multiversity).

Outlaw Showdown #1 will be in comic shops on October 22, 2025.
