eMoviePoster’s late July auctions and August Major Auction, featuring one-sheets, lobby cards, non-movie posters, and more, reached $685,204 in sales.

The auction on July 29 contained 1,524 one-sheets, lobby cards, stills, and more, bringing in $159,804. Three surprise results were a Charlie Chan In Honolulu one-sheet for $2,611, Sunset Boulevard one-sheet for $1,828, and Young & Innocent set of 3 trimmed lobby cards for $1,756.

The July 31 auction of 869 US and international movie and non-movie posters totaled $87,165. Three notable results were a Raiders of the Lost Ark one-sheet for $900, Back to the Future one-sheet for $851, and 2001: A Space Odyssey color 28” x 39” still for $825.

The August Major Auction that closed on August 3, filled with 731 posters, lobby cards, and more totaled $438,235. Individual records were set with three top sales including Dracula’s Daughter linen-backed insert for $9,750, A Bout De Souffle linen-backed French one-panel for $8,750, and I Want You for the Navy linen-backed 27×42 poster for $8,050.

The final deadline to send consignments for their 26th Annual Halloween Auction is August 29. They are also now accepting consignments for the December Major Auction.
