Carl Lumbly Added to Baltimore Comic-Con Guest List
Baltimore Comic-Con has announced a new media guest list for this fall’s show on October 17-19, 2025. Actor Carl Lumbly is set to attend the show at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Lumbly has over 150 credits to his name across film, television, and theater. He is well known for playing Isaiah Bradley in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Captain America: Brave New World. He voiced Martian Manhunter in the Justice League animated series and other DC animated projects. He also played M’yrnn J’onzz, the father of J’onn J’onzz in Supergirl.

He played Mark Petrie in Cagney & Lacey, he was Dr. Miles Hawkins in M.A.N.T.I.S., and he starred in Alias as CIA agent Marcus Dixon. Lumbly was in How Stella Got Her Groove Back, he played Dick Hallorann in Doctor Sleep, starred in The Fall of the House of Usher TV series, and he was recently in The Life of Chuck.
“It is very exciting for us to host such an accomplished actor,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “His résumé is vast, and both his face and voice are immediately recognizable. He has featured in so many great movies, including genre titles in and adjacent to comics, and we couldn’t be happier to have Baltimore’s Captain America with us in 2025!”
