Dynamite; $4.99

The year is 1997. The location is Cyberdyne Systems in Los Angeles. A group of soldiers from the future have traveled back in time to destroy the Skynet servers and prevent Judgment Day. Unfortunately for them, a T-800 Terminator was sent back well before them to protect this point in time and the uprising of the machines.

The latest issue of Terminator by Declan Shalvey takes two different points of view. First, we have the humans who are angry, determined, and willing to die to stop the catastrophe to come. The second is that of the Terminator who is singularly focused on protecting Cyberdyne and Skynet.

Artist Joe Mulvey and colorist Colin Craker present the Terminator’s dedication to the cause by depicting the repetition of guarding Cyberdyne everyday and the excitement once soldiers from the future arrive. This series has been consistently fresh and interesting from issue to issue, and has done so without a regular main cast.
