Dynamite; $14.99 (softcover), $19.99 (hardcover)

In the first four issues of Lilo & Stitch, the adorable alien traveled around the world, fleeing the Cluster Sovereign and their robots. Now, he is back in Hawaii to be with his best bud, Lilo, who is having her own adventures. First, the Galactic Federation seeks Lilo’s help in taming more challenging aliens. When the spirit of ‘Ohana moves her to help more lost creatures, Lilo, Stitch, Nani, David, and even Dr. Jumba find it tricky to take care of them and keep everyone safe in the process.

Lilo and Stitch Vol. 2: ‘Ohana collects issues 5-8 of the ongoing Dynamite/Disney series. The comic written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Giulia Giacomino is entertaining and informative. Lilo and Stitch, and the rest of their misfit family are as lovable and funny as they were in the movie. The book has taught readers about Hawaiian culture, it has provided lessons on compassion, and embraces the beauty of found family. It’s a really fun and charming book for readers of all ages.
