Romance, a doomed town, and time travel await in the new mystery thriller, Blink and You’ll Miss It. Written by the team of Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan (Kill Your Darlings), the book features the work of debut artist Keith Browning, and colorist Brad Simpson. The BOOM! Studios titles is coming out in the summer of 2025.

All that colliding with the immense talents of coloring genius Brad Simpson and master editor Jon Moisan has resulted in something we hope to be truly distinct.”

Melody Nelson and Jesse Harmon fell in love while living in a small town called Perennial Harbor, but years after Jesse left, it has become a nightmarish place. Jesse is struggling to sleep because Melody is still stuck there, so she plans to return and save her. This proves difficult since reality is coming apart around Melody and it’s sending her back in time. Can Jesse uncover the cause of Melody’s curse before she disappears forever?

“Blink and You’ll Miss It is bizarre and dreamlike, but it also wears its heart on its sleeve in a way that we find painfully romantic. To write this thing, Grif and I have camped out in the most nerve-wracking territory of our brains, and found something very personal in very unexpected ways,” Parker said. “Thanks to Keith, Brad, Jon, and every other amazing talent that has contributed their art to this collective, we’ve made another comic book that represents what we want to see on the stands. “Upon reading the outline for this book, I saw immediately that Ethan and Griffin were creating a narrative that truly puts the focus on the characters,” said artist Keith Browning. “Of course this thing has looming mystery, fun action, and kooky visuals (it is a comic book after all)! But the people really are the heart of this story, and I’ve enjoyed the privilege of ‘acting’ through these characters.”

Blink and You’ll Miss It #1 features a main cover by Browning and variants by Christian Ward (Batman: City of Madness), Rebeca Puebla (Dejah Thoris), and Elsa Charretier (Star Wars Adventures). It will arrive in comic shops on August 6.
