What if a person became something else when they sleep – something deadly? Cartoonist Zander Cannon (Kaijumax) will answer that question in the horror series, Sleep. Image is providing a preview of the eight-issue miniseries, which they likened to The Deviant and I Was a Fashion School Serial Killer.

“When Jonathan Reason falls asleep, he becomes…something else. Every night, it stalks his quiet town, killing (seemingly) indiscriminately. When he wakes, covered in blood, our story begins. This new horror mystery explores the horrifying waking hours of an unwilling part-time killer,” per the description.

Sleep #1 has a main cover by Cannon and a variant cover by Ryan Browne. It will be in comic shops on May 21, 2025.
