High grade copies of the Black Cat’s debut and Batman: The Killing Joke are featured lots in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation & Art Weekly Online Auction, which closes January 26-27, 2020.

The Amazing Spider-Man #194 CGC 9.8 contains the first appearance of the Black Cat, in which she’s introduced as a dangerous adversary – who would eventually also be a love interest and ally to Spider-Man. With a cover by Al Milgrom and Black Cat text illustration by Dave Cockrum, this issue also includes an appearance by Mysterio, another nemesis of Spider-Man.

Batman: The Killing Joke CGC 9.8 by Alan Moore presents a pivotal Joker story that provides an origin story and illustrates how diabolical the villain can be. Depicting a bold cover with an oversized close-up of the Joker, this copy is a Green logo first edition, which includes embossed cover and art by Brian Bolland.
