The current trend of turning comics into movies and TV shows continues with Netflix’s adaptation of The Old Guard. The comic, written by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez, sees a group of soldiers cursed with immortality who work as hired guns for those that can afford their services. But, staying hidden in the 21st century is nearly impossible, and these soldiers are seeing that there are fates worse than death.

Tying the new movie to the source material, Netflix has released a video featuring Rucka and Fernandez, along with director Gina Prince-Bythewood and star Charlize Theron to talk about the book to screen adaptation. The video shows side by side comic panels and scenes from the movie as they talk about the premise and how things transitioned from the page to the film.
