Comic Art LIVE, the virtual comic art convention, will be held this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 22-23, 2021 via ComicArtFans.com. The event is free for all online visitors, starting at 1 PM ET on May 22 and ending at 6 PM ET on May 23.

Things kick off Friday night with a Hero Initiative sponsored Drink & Draw session featuring Tony Parker, Jules Rivera, Mike McKone, Ryan Dunleavey, Dan Brereton, Jim Calafiore, Tom Raney, and others. It starts at 9:30 PM.

TalentTalk has teamed with Comic Art Live to provide eight meet and greet opportunities with top names in comics, including getting an exclusive sketchboard or sketchcoaster. Those creators are Dan Jurgens, Mike Grell, Kevin Nowlan, Howard Chaykin, Andy Lanning, Matt Wagner, Ryan Sook, and Brett Breeding. The meet and greets can be scheduled on TalentTalk’s website.

Events on May 22 include Phil Hester Original Art Tour at 2 PM, John Paul Leon Tribute at 3 PM, Mike Perkins at 4 PM, Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner at 5 PM, James Harren/Felix Comic Art at 6 PM, and NextComicArt.com Claim Sale at 7 PM.

The May 23 events are with Anthony Snyder at 12 PM, Hilary Barta at 1 PM, Tony Parker at 2 PM, and Katie Cook at 3 PM.

Comic Art Fans’ (CAF) Premium Members will have access two hours earlier at 11 AM ET, giving them more time to buy artwork and get on commission/sketch lists before the general audience. The Premium Membership costs $75 for a period of one year and they are now offering a three-month membership for $35. This can also be used by those who want to have a booth at Comic Art Live. Other features of the Premium Membership include listing art in the CAF Classifieds, larger scans of art in your CAF Gallery, and get alerts for the art on your want list.
