Beebo, the loveable toy that regularly pops up in Legends of Tomorrow, is starring in his own holiday special, Beebo Saves Christmas. Following his most recent Legends cameo in the superhero show’s milestone 100th episode, The CW has released the first image from the special.

The still, which was released through TVLine, Beebo can be seen with Santa Claus and other fluffy creatures in what appears to be a café. Beebo, Santa, and other characters seem to be cheering while one looks grumpy, and others look on in curiosity.

In the hour-long Beebo Saves Christmas, Beebo and his friends try to help Santa Claus when Sprinkles, an elf obsessed with efficiency, believes that Christmas would run smoother without Old Saint Nick. The voice cast includes Ben Diskin as Beebo, Ernie Hudson as Santa, Chris Kattan as Sprinkles, Victor Garber (Legends’ Martin Stein) as the narrator, Yvette Nicole Brown as Turbo, Kimiko Glenn as Tweebo, and Keith Ferguson as Fleabo.

Beebo, a Tickle Me Elmo-type toy, was introduced in the Legends season three episode, “Beebo the God of War.” He had been sent back in time and was found by Vikings who believed that he was a god. For that season’s finale, the Legends combined their energy from powerful totems to become a supersized Beebo to fight the demon Mallus. Since then, he has reappeared several times on the zany superhero show.

Beebo Saves Christmas will premiere on The CW on December 1, 2021.
