Pedigree Comics’ high grade September Modern Auction is now open for bids. The auction began on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, and lasts for two weeks until Wednesday, September 14 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website.

There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every book is listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC-graded and the minimum bid is $20 for this auction. Over 450 lots are open for bids on Pedigree’s website by clicking on the auction banner.

Most of the Modern books come from a collection out of Palm Beach, Florida that was recently consigned to Pedigree Comics. Most of the books are Marvel issues but there are other publishers as well, including DC, Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, Image, BOOM! Studios, IDW Publishing, Valiant, Image Comics, and others.

There are over 30 hip hop variant covers and Signature Series books, and almost every one is CGC 9.8. The Signature Series comics include many signed by Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza.
