ComicConnect’s Event Auction #54 is closing on Friday, June 9, 2023. As several keys are still set to close, ComicConnect is also reporting some of the top results already achieved.

“With art, pulps, and just the start of comics behind us, I have only a sampling of results to report from Event Auction #54, with hundreds of lots to go,” ComicConnect President Vincent Zurzolo said. “Bidders still have the opportunity to pick up some of the highest graded, most valuable comics in the marketplace today.” 

For art, a Todd McFarlane page from Amazing Spider-Man #325 sold for $39,905, the Gil Kane Conan #12 cover realized $66,701, the Incredible Hulk #154 cover by Herb Trimpe sold for $83,375, and a Wally Wood Weird Science page saw $46,000. 

On the comics side, All Star Comics #8 2.5 reached $27,000, Batman #1 2.0 eclipsed $176,500, Amazing Fantasy #15 6.0 brought $78,000, and Amazing Spider-Man #1 5.0 saw $50,500. 

Books still open for bidding include a run of Captain America Comics, and keys like Fantastic Four #1 6.0, Incredible Hulk #1 8.0, Iron Man #1 9.9, Journey into Mystery #83 9.4, Marvel Mystery #47 9.4, Suspense #11 9.8, Ultimate Fallout #4 9.8 Stan Lee Signature Series variant, and X-Men #1 7.0.
