A copy of Panic #1, a John Romita Jr. and Al Williamson Uncanny X-Men page, and Killer Instinct PAL version for SNES with accessories are among the highlights in Heritage’s weekly auctions. The Comic Books Select Auction ends on Sunday through Tuesday, June 18-20, 2023, the Video Games & TCG Mini-Boss Auction concludes on Tuesday, June 20, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction closes on Wednesday, June 21.

The comic auction kicks off with Panic #1, the infamous EC book with a twisted Christmas tale and naughty cover by Al Feldstein. Sam Wilson/the Falcon makes his debut in Captain America #117 CGC 9.2, which features a cover by Gene Colan, Joe Sinnott, and John Romita Sr.

The original art auction is led by John Romita Jr. and Al Williamson’s The Uncanny X-Men #203 story page 11 with Rachel Summers fighting the Beyonder while Professor X, Lilandra, and the Starjammers look on. Sal Buscema and Bill Sienkiewicz’s The Spectacular Spider-Man #226 story page 22 shows the Jackal and Spider-Man clone, Kaine, preparing to unleash the Carrion Virus.

In the video game auction, Pole Position II WATA 9.6 sealed for Atari 7800 is the highest graded copy that Heritage has offered. The Killer Instinct (PAL version) for SNES, a port of the 1994 arcade game, is sealed in an oversized box with a free watch and “Killer Cuts” soundtrack CD.
