you’re going to like ’em! First, there is an Original 1951 New York State
Legislative document referenced in the famed The Seduction of the
Innocent, which sold for the record price of $636.99. That’s quite
impressive – considering the previous record was $180!
Next, we have a
1951 Barbie, complete with a swinging ponytail, that sold in gorgeous condition
for $5,100. On the sporty side of things, we have a Die Cast Joe Louis Mantle
Clock that sold for $364. There was also an ultra-rare Gerber-9 copy of More
Fun #9 – less than 10 of which are known to exist – that sold for $3,750,
and an original Charles Coll The Shadow Pulp cover that sold (through
Sotheby’s on eBay) for $3,571.
Meanwhile, a CGC 9.8 of Incredible
Hulk #162 (the 1st appearance of Wendigo) sold for $1,136, while, the
Wolverine Limited Series #1 CGC 10.0 featured in last week’s Scoop
ultimately sold for $3,550.
