Not that there was much doubt, anyway, but Famke Janssen re-upped her X-Men
contract this week. So we can all expect the rise of Phoenix in the latest
mutant installment. Aside from here and Hugh Jackman, however, there have been
no reports of other official contract signings.

So Sir Ian McKellan,
Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn and Alan Cumming are all
still in negotiations. Both Berry and McKellan have expressed their desire to
return to the franchise, though Berry has also been vocal about her one
stipulation: that Storm receive a larger part and that her role be written
closer to her comic book personality.

each of them re-signs or resigns.
