Scoop has just learned that the upcoming ComicLink Focused auction,
which runs from August 15 to August 25, will be a completely without reserve.
The collection includes 60 books from the Superman title, ranging from
Superman #4 to Superman #282. All books have been graded and
certified by CGC.

“The vast majority of the books in this auction are
from the collection of one particularly selective collector. With the exception
of a handful of early books like Superman #4, Superman #6 and
Superman #7, the collection contains ultra high-grade examples of each
issue. That being said, there are a number of 8.0’s and 9.0’s in the auction as
well, leaving something for every Gold, Silver or Bronze Age Superman
collector,” commented Josh Nathanson, ComicLink CEO.

A few auction
highlights: Superman #24 CGC certified 9.2 with a classic flag cover,
Superman #70 CGC certified 9.0 and 2nd highest copy,
Superman #134 CGC certified 8.5 and 2nd highest graded,
Superman #190 CGC certified 9.6 and highest certified, Superman
#233 CGC certified 9.4 featuring a classic Neal Adams cover, Superman #252 CGC
certified 9.4 100 pager.

The auction goes live this coming Monday and
ends the following Thursday. Complete contents of the auction, along with scans,
can be viewed in ComicLink’s Auction section.
