Geppi’s Entertainment Museum at Camden Yards (GEM), opening July, 2006 in
downtown Baltimore, Maryland, is definitely pulling a lion out of its hat with
the greatly anticipated grand opening just around the corner. Steve Geppi has
reached into his archive of collectibles top hat and come up with the best of
the best of a 30 year collection. From the Brownies to Batman and back again,
Bullwinkle, Rocky, Boris and Natasha, Dudley Do-Right, Snidley Whiplash, Nell,
Sherman & Peabody will be represented and kept company by the last 230 years
of American Pop Culture items and its icons.

These characters and so many
more will be housed in a 16,000 sq. ft. facility in the second floor of historic
Camden Station right across from Camden Yards where the Orioles play baseball.
Camden Station is an 1854 edifice built by the B&O Railroad to be its main
Baltimore hub and has seen the likes of Abraham Lincoln pass through its
interior on three separate occasions. The building now houses Sports Legends
museum on its first floor and soon GEM so the building is no stranger to
important events and happenings.

GEM is a Baltimore destination that you
don’t want to leave solely to Bullwinkle’s magic hat. So, put GEM on your
schedule starting this summer and follow the weekly updates in Scoop for
grand opening information. See you there!
