In December 2005, TalesOfWonder.com purchased the worst known copy of
Fantastic Four #5 in a benefit auction for A.C.T.O.R., A Commitment To
Our Roots. The copy comes from Stan Lee’s personal collection and is signed by
Stan “The Man.” The eBay auction was hosted by John Jackson Miller and The
Comics’ Buyers Guide. TalesOfWonder.com intends to hold a benefit auction on
the anniversary date of eBay auction. Whether that auction will include the
Fantastic Four #5 is still unknown.

“Growing up, Stan Lee was a personal hero of mine. To own one of his comic
books is a great thrill,” stated Joe Hovorka, TalesOfWonder.com owner. “We bought
the comic book with the intention of auctioning it for the benefit of A.C.T.O.R.
After actually holding the book though, I just don’t know if I want to sell it.
If we do, I may just have to bid for it again!”

sales to A.C.T.O.R. between now and April 15^th for those customers
