As Scoop goes to press, bidding inside the Heritage Signature
Vintage Movie Poster Auction is scheduled to end. The auction contains rare
posters from a number of significant films and cartoons as well as items from
behind the scenes of Hollywood classics such as Gone with the Wind. There
are over 1,000 items inside the event.

The auction has been gathering
momentum since on-line bidding opened a few weeks ago. Disney collectors are
especially excited by the listing of rare Disney Cartoon posters such as 1932’s
Mickey’s Nightmare or 1933’s The Mad Doctor. Buster Keaton fans
are watching the listing for the rare one-sheet form the great stone face’s the
cameraman closely. One of the other highlights is Douglas Fairbanks in the 1926
feature, The Black Pirate.

The auction is closing today, Friday,
March 17 and tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, 2006. It is being held in Dallas, TX
