One of our favorite mini-series of 2004 –
2005 is finally collected in this cool trade paperback. Samurai: Heaven and
Earth, written by Ron Marz (Green Lantern) and illustrated by Luke
Ross (Jonah Hex), it’s the story of Shiro, a lone samurai, who follows
the woman he loves, Yoshiko, from his native Japan to Paris and the court of
King Louis XIV. The story and the art are both beautiful and captivating, and
it’s a real page turner. If you like adventure or adventure comics, this one
comes highly recommended.
