Christie’s Auction House recently sold Andy Warhol’s Small Torn Campbell’s
Soup Can for $11.7 million. This set a record for the artist’s Campbell Soup Can
series. Pre-auction estimates placed the painting as high as $15
million.

The painting was part of Christie’s post-war and Contemporary
