The latest volume in the in the Nexus
Archives series presents Nexus volume 2, issues 12 through 18. The
creative team of writer Mike Baron and artist Steve Rude started really hitting
their storytelling stride at this point in their First Comics run, with Rude
being inked by Eric Shanower, who soon would go onto his own fame with his
Oz graphic novels and later the wonderfully detailed Age of
Bronze. Shanower also does the first fill-in issue in the series,
Nexus #17 (there would be a high profile series of fill-ins later in the
series). Also included are the Clonzone the Hilariator by Baron and artist Mark
A. Nelson. The series is a great plus for Nexus fans.
