Among artist Frank Cho’s favorite subjects for illustration are monkeys, dinosaurs, and beautiful women. So, it’s inevitable that his preferred topics sometimes overlap. While there are no dinosaurs in his 2005 watercolor illustration “Babe & Ape”, Cho’s other two faves are very much present.

The Babe & Ape statue from ReelArt Studios translates Cho’s artwork into three dimensions with uncanny accuracy. Sculpted by Mike Petryszak, Cho’s personal choice for the task, Babe & Ape features a curvaceous woman relaxing on the back of a large, blue-furred, cigar-smoking ape.

The Babe & Ape statue is produced by ReelArt Studios in a limited edition of 1,000, and is distributed through Dark Horse Comics.
