CSI fans breathed a collective sigh of relief when team member Sara Sidle was saved from a death in the Nevada desert, last Thursday night. But something even better happened during the show. What was more spectacular than the continuation of a central character was the announcement of an eBay auction for charity.

CBS and their show CSI are auctioning a model replica of Gil Grissom’s office.  It is an original prop from the season seven episode, “Living Doll.” Its estimated worth is $25,000 and comes with a certificate of authenticity, though it is not signed because of the glass pane structure.

All proceeds from the auction are going to the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association. The National CASA Association provides help for children who are abused and/or neglected. CASA members seek safe, nurturing homes for children. They are trained citizens, comprising over 50,000 volunteers, serving 225,000 abused and neglected children in the U.S., fighting for their best interests.

Check out the auction and bid on a unique collectible prop and support a worthy organization
