As if a bizarre flashback from Ken Burns’ latest epic documentary, Billy Tucci’s neighbors got an eyeful of World War II just across their lawns last Sunday. The writer – artist behind DC’s newly announced Sgt. Rock mini-series staged another of his reference photo shoots with friends taking the role of Sgt. Rock and Easy Company.

“Getting ready for this has been a lot of work," Tucci said, “but it’s really been enjoyable to see how into the story everyone gets as I describe the scenes to them.”

As previously detailed in Scoop, the first issue of Sgt. Rock and the Lost Battalion is slated for a Spring ’08 release.
