On November 24-25, 2007, fans attending Mid-Ohio Con will have a rare opportunity to not only see up-close the original production puppets used in filming the 1964 TV classic, "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer," but also participate in a unique photo opportunity done in a fun "visit with Santa" style. The Time & Space Toys booth will be converted into a "Mall Santa" scene with a real live Santa and Girl Elf to pose in photos with customers along with the rare production puppets of both Rudolph and Santa. The photos will be presented to customers in a Limited Edition Commemorative Photo Frame Booklet. The booklet will contain a special cover image and a history of the puppets inside along with a photo of the fan sitting with Santa and/or his Elf next to the actual Rankin/Bass Rudolph and Santa Puppets! Rankin/Bass Studio author and historian, Rick Goldschmidt,will be on hand to speak with fans throughout the weekend, as well.
