Anime and manga fans have much to look forward to at the upcoming MegaCon. Held in Orlando, Florida Friday through Sunday, March 7-9, 2008 MegaCon will host awesome anime events along with comics and other media.

As usual guests abound at the con. Naruto will be appearing at MegaCon ’08 and will sign a limited number of photos, which can be ordered at narutofest.com. Fans can also meet the band Vidoll, the indie visual kei band delivering a mix of melody and grove. They will appear for autographs and photos on Friday from 4:00-6:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00-2:00 PM. The band will also take part in a question and answer panel on Saturday from 11:40 AM to 12:30 PM.

A favorite of anime guests, the costume contest is back. Featuring the best anime costumes for the 8th year in a row, the contest will be held Saturday at 4:30 PM. Registration forms will be available all day Friday and until 11:15 AM Saturday. Pre-registration can be done by going to animesushi.com before February 19. After the contest, hang out at the Cyberia Dance from 8:30-11:30 PM at the convention center.

Sunday the anime music video contest will take place, but this year, it’ll be a little different. Only digital entries uploaded through animesushi.com by Sunday, February 24 will be accepted. Go to animesushi.com for more details.
