Twenty Years with Comix Connection
This weekend instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day with flowers, chocolate, and jewelry, go to Comix Connection and celebrate their twentieth anniversary with some awesome comics and games!
Comix Connection, located in the West Manchester Mall in York, Pennsylvania and on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania has been providing the community with the best in comics since 1988. Founded by Ned Senft and Bill Wahl, their first location was in an old Schwinn Bike Shop Book Co-op in downtown York, Pennsylvania. Over the years they’ve sponsored past York Con comic book conventions, expanded locations, and sold thousands of comic books.
Within that twenty years, Comix Connection has been a great part of their community with many faithful customers and employees who remain close. Geppi’s Entertainment’s Hake’s Americana staff members Alex Winter and Mike Bollinger used to work there and remain connected. Winter, who is the general manager at Hake’s was an employee at Comix Connection for eleven years and Bollinger, Hake’s cataloger, worked there for four years and has been buying comics there for eighteen years.
Starting today, February 15, 2008, and running through the weekend until Sunday, February 17, Comix Connection is celebrating their anniversary with a huge sale. All merchandise is 20% off, including new and old comics, trade paperbacks, t-shirts, games, posters, and much more. Check out their website to get all the details about the stores.
Congratulations Comix Connection!
