Hellcat Mini-Bust

Patsy Walker spent the early years of her comic book career starring in romance titles geared toward young female readers. After spending several years in limbo following the discontinuation of Marvel Comics’ non-super-hero titles, Patsy made her return in a most surprising setting.

As a supporting player in the solo adventures of the Beast, of the then-disbanded X-Men, Patsy was married to her old sweetheart Buzz Baxter, who worked as head of security for the nefarious Roxxon Corporation.

A few years later, the Beast joined the Avengers, the Avengers battled an ancient evil set free by Roxxon, and Patsy, now divorced from Buzz, gave assistance to the heroes. While hiding in a Roxxon warehouse, Patsy discovered the discarded costume of a short-time superheroine known as The Cat. Patsy donned the costume, dubbed herself Hellcat, and jumped into the fray. After things settled down, Hellcat received formal martial arts training from sometimes-Avenger Moondragon.

The Hellcat mini-bust from Bowen designs is sculpted by Jim Maddox, and is available in a limited edition of 2,000.
