The soundtrack to Invasion USA, one of the most loved films of Chuck Norris’ long career, is now available. Screen Archives has release a limited edition of 1,000 copies of the music from the film.

The music perfectly accentuates the director Joseph Zito’s non-stop action as Chuck Norris blows up bad guys and Richard Lynch blows up good guys. On an interesting note, the soundtrack was one of the first to use than new digital delay devise. Composer Jay Chattaway used the device to allow several of the orchestral motifs to reverberate in key action sequences. The original score has been re-mixed and re-mastered. You can find out more at Screen Archives

Also released this week is the music composed by Bruce Boughton for the film The Blue and the Gray. The double Cd has been taken straight from the only surviving complete two-track masters. Limited to 2,000 copies, the music is conducted by the composer.

When you visit Screen Archives make sure you take a second to look for the soundtrack to the Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze classic Point Break. The music is almost as big a rush as the movie.
