The Heritage March 2008 Signature Movie Auction holds over 1,300 classic posters, covering the earliest days of cinema to the present. Online bidding is now open for the event. Each and every lot is imaged and detailed at the site. The event is scheduled to start closing on March 11, 2008. Heritage’s previous Movie Poster Auction set records with it’s offering. This new auction looks to equal or surpass that event. 

The art that graces movie posters can either reflect the times, the setting of the picture or a single artistic interpretation of the film. No matter what way the producers choose to represent the film, it would often add up to a winner for the audience. Among the films listed are The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Raven, Thunderball, King Kong, Moon Over Miami, Yellow Submarine, and many more.
