The highly anticipated ComicConnect Event Auction has officially started. Bidding on the 843 comic book auction lots began at noon on Sunday, February 24, 2008. This important auction is comprised of some of the finest and rarest examples of Platinum, Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age keys, pedigrees, and highest graded copies in existence. The auction ends March 8-9, 2008. Comic collectors are encouraged to bid early, and to bid aggressively. Many, many low reserves are already being met, meaning numerous happy winners will walk away with some of the best comics in the world at the end of the Event Auction.

Best of all, ComicConnect would like to remind bidders that the company does not charge Buyer Premiums, and there are never any hidden fees or extra costs levied against bidders. What you see is what you get, and an auction’s hammer price is the sale price of each won item.

Some of the many pedigrees included in the Event Auction are the Edgar Church / Mile High, Northland, Crowley, Pennsylvania, Gaines File Copies, Boston, Nova Scotia, Twilight, Diamond Run and Twilight collections. The auction includes: Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 7.5, Amazing Spiderman #1 CGC 7.0, Detective Comics #27 C.Connect Verified Gr. 5.5, Detective Comics #27 C.Connect Verified Gr. 0.2, Fantastic Four (1961-96) #1 CGC 3.5, Fantastic Four (1961-96) #3 CGC 9.0, Fantastic Four (1961-96) #5 CGC 9.4, Incredible Hulk #1 VG/F 5.0, Incredible Hulk #2 CGC 9.4, Journey Into Mystery #83 CGC 6.0, Justice League of America #27 CGC 9.6, Marvel Comics #1 F/VF 7.0, Sgt.
