When Odin, ruler of the mythical Norse gods, took in the orphaned infant son of a slain Frost Giant and raised him as his own, he didn’t suspect the evil force he would one day be unleashing on the world. Growing up in the shadow of his powerful foster brother Thor, the young Loki pursued his affinity for magic and mischief making. As he grew older his one-time harmless pranks grew more malevolent and manipulative.

Motivated by ambition, and jealous of his more popular brother, Loki’s schemes became ever grander as he repeatedly attempted to destroy Thor and usurp the throne of the fabled kingdom Asgard. Responsible for the creation of a number of supervillains in his campaign for Thor’s downfall, Loki was also the inadvertent cause for the formation of the original Avengers team.

The Loki Statue from Bowen Designs captures the God of Evil in a pensive moment, seated on the throne of Asgard. Sculpted by the Kucharek Brothers, Loki features two interchangeable left hands, one gripping the spear of Odin, the other clutching an empty goblet. The Loki Statue is available in a limited edition of 1,250.
