An amazing group of pre-Batman Detective Comics is featured among the early Golden Age comics being auctioned as part of an estate stale in Southington, Ohio by auctioneer Darryl McGuire.

The comics, which have now been certified by CGC, include Detective Comics #3 (4.0), 6 (4.5), 7 (5.5), 8 (6.0), 9 (5.0), 11 (7.0), 13 (5.5), 15 (6.0), 16 (8.0), 17 (6.0), 18 (5.5) and 19 (7.0).
Also certified by CGC was a 7.0 copy of Daring Mystery Comics #2.

Additionally the collection includes issues of Tip Top, Funny Pages, Mammoth Comics, Wow Comic Magazine, Planet, New Adventure, and Funny Picture Stories, as well as some Big Little Books.
