Punisher actor Thomas Jane and Bloom County creator Berkeley Breathed will be among the guests attending the Long Beach Comic Con, the show has announced. The convention will be held October 2-4, 2009, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Jane will host the premiere screening of his new movie film Give’Em Hell Malone, an action film co-starring Ving Rhames (Surrogates), and Breathed will make first convention appearance ever while introducing The Bloom County Library Volume One from IDW Publishing. Breathed will be hosting a discussion of BloomCounty and signing copies of the book on Saturday only, just a few days before its national release.
