Metropolis Collectibles has promoted Chris Foster to the position of Shipping Manager. In his new role, Chris will oversee the stockroom and shipping department, fulfilling customer orders from both MetropolisComics.com and their sister-company, ComicConnect.com.

Chris began at Metropolis as an inventory clerk. When Metropolis’ previous shipping manager, Sherri Napier, decided to move back to her home state of Virginia, her protégé Chris’s strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction made him the obvious choice to fill her “superstar shoes”. Originally from Philadelphia, Chris came to NYC after spending two years in Florida working as a chef. Chris has an extensive knowledge of comics, having read and collected them for over 15 years.

When he was younger, Chris’ passion began with reading Spider-Man and X-Men, and he spent many hours after school scouring comic book shops for back issues and new releases. When Chris is not working, he enjoys traveling and attending music concerts.
