Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Tops Again
In its second week in release, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs topped the September 25-27, 2009 box office, holding onto the number one spot with a take of $24.6 million and a cumulative total of more than $60 million to date in the United States, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.
It was followed by two new releases, Surrogates ($15 million) and the remake of Fame ($10,033,000), as well as The Informant ($6.5 million) and Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself ($4.4 million), rounding out the top five.
