In the face of continued economic uncertainty, even the establishment media has been forced to notice the sustained confidence in the marketplace for high grade, vintage pop culture collectibles compared to what’s been happening in the traditional markets.

Cable channel CNBC produced an insight report on the growth of collectibles in the face of the mainstream economy, and for it they talked with Hake’s Americana & Collectibles founder Ted Hake and Philip Weiss Auctions’ founder Phil Weiss, as well as others.
