Steel City Con Set for December 4-6, 2009
Pittsburgh’s Steel City Con is will celebrate 20 years as Pennsylvania’s largest toy and pop culture convention this December 4-6, 2009 at the Monroeville Convention Center.
According the show’s promoters, the celebrity guest list continues to build. In addition to a massive selection of toys and comic books, they said, attendees will be treated to signing appearances by pop culture icons.
Ghostbusters fans will be able to meet Ernie Hudson, while wrestling fans will be treated to a rare appearance of Kevin Nash along with Traci Brooks and So Cal Val. Star Wars fans will be able to meet Peter Mayhew, who portrayed Chewbacca, and Luciana Carro of Battlestar Galactica spin-off Caprica will also be in attendance.
The first 1,000 attendees who purchase a Three-Day Pass will receive a Goodie Bag which is filled with toys and comics valued at more than the price of admission. Three-Day Pass Holders will also receive early admission.
