April 2010 will bring the second and concluding installment of The Phantom – Captain Action crossover from Moonstone Books. As fans of both characters, we’re happy to see these characters meeting again… for the first time.

While the characters have never teamed up in comic books before the first issue arrives in March, The Phantom has close ties to Captain Action.

The Ghost Who Walks was one of the original costumes available for the Captain Action line of action figures in the 1960s, and it remains highly collectible today.

In the 40-page conclusion, Captain Action and Diana have tracked down the Phantom’s kidnappers. That’s when the bullets start flying.

Regular Phantom scribe  Mike Bullock provides the story, Reno Maniquis handles the art, and it features a choice of covers by Art Thibert and Mark Sparacio.
