Frank Miller Working on 300 Prequel
According to writer Geoff Boucher of the LA Times, writer-artist-director Frank Miller has plotted a new graphic novel prequel to his top-selling 300, which of course spawned the hit film adaptation by Watchmen director Zack Snyder.
Having finished the plot, Miller is set to start illustrating Xerxes, which is set years before the events depicted in 300.
In a December 14, 2009 interview with ICv2.com, Publisher Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Comics told the site he hoped he would be able to release a new Frank Miller project in 2010. Many fans are also waiting on the next installment of SinCity, which has been much delayed.
