Wizard Adds Show in Nashville to Line-Up
Gareb Shamus, CEO of Wizard, has added another to his list of comic convention acquisitions with the purchase of the 10-year-old Nashville Comics & Horror Festival. The show, which will operate as the Nashville Comic Con Wizard World Convention, is the twelfth city in the Wizard line-up. Marc Ballard, owner of ComicCityTN, the show’s manager, will remain as a consultant.
Dates and venue are to be announced.
The scheduled Wizard shows thus far are March 26-28, 2010 (Toronto), April 16-18, 2010 (Anaheim), June 11-13, 2010 (Philadelphia), August 19-22, 2010 (Chicago), October 1-3, 2010 (New England), October 7-10, 2010 (Big Apple), October 15-17, 2010 (New Jersey), and November 12-14, 2010 (Austin), with dates also to be announced for Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
Additionally, CGC has announced that it will accept submissions at all Wizard World shows. The company said it will offer onsite grading at Chicago and Philadelphia only.
